Payment may be effected by e-mailing your credit card details (Card Type - VISA/MasterCard/AMEX; Card Number; Security Code and expiry MM/YY) to creditcards@virtuferries.com together with the booking reference. Kindly note that if payment is not effected within 24 hours, your reservation may be cancelled.

btw i know one czech couple who wanted to book and pay ferry online and after refusing sending cc info by email they have to go to travel agency and pay it there.. so much for IT services in 2007

fokkin unbelievable. actually i do believe it .. its not just local stuff either.
B&H used to ask you to send them a photocopy of your cc via email. Ordering from Dynamism.com used to be done via email as well - they might have improved this

I think every company should work like this. infact i will set up a creditcards@ mailbox at my domain.

absolutely insane —- at the very least they could put something like:
Thank you, we will be in contact with you as soon as possible via your contact numbers to confirm the booking and process the payment….
although I certainly wouldn’t quite do it that way…
